I’m an Italian traditional and digital artist, influenced by the elegance and storytelling of Japanese manga and anime. I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil, and over the years I’ve shaped my education around this dream. I studied at the International School of Comics in Florence, where I focused on illustration and comics, and after graduation I continued to study on my own, pushing my skills further through constant practice.

My Journey

I began sharing my artwork online at a very young age, starting out on platforms like DeviantArt and my personal blog. The response encouraged me to keep going, and as I moved to social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, my audience kept growing.

Through this, I discovered something important: I didn’t just love creating art, I also loved the role of a content creator. Sharing my process, connecting with people, and building a community around art became just as meaningful as the drawings themselves. Over the years, I dedicated a lot of energy to developing this side of my career, collaborating with brands and producing content that has brought me great satisfaction.

In 2011, I decided to challenge myself by entering the Lucca Project Comics Contest organized by Lucca Comics & Games, one of the biggest comic conventions in Europe. My project won a Special Mention, and I was published with Edizioni BD the following year — my very first step into the professional world of comics.

Independent Comics & Self-Publishing

As my path unfolded, I realized that what I wanted most was to be an independent artist. I longed to work on my own projects, to tell my own stories in my own way. That’s why, in 2013, I self-published my comic Racers, debuting it at Lucca Comics & Games. Being part of such an important convention, attended by hundreds of thousands of people every year, was an unforgettable experience. I went on to publish further volumes of Racers in the following years, consolidating my role as an indie comic creator.

Merchandise

During this time, I also discovered another passion: creating merchandise based on my illustrations. In 2014, I opened my Etsy shop, where I began selling keychains, pins, stickers, tote bags, and many other custom items. Over time, my products became increasingly popular, and I eventually launched my own online shop to better manage everything. Today, I run both shops, constantly expanding the range of products available for fans and collectors.

Collaborations & Professional Experience

Alongside my personal projects, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with different companies and brands.

  • As a content creator, I’ve partnered with international art brands such as Ohuhu, Arrtx, Clip Studio Paint, Huion, XP-Pen, Karin, Meeden Art, XTool, creating promotional artwork, tutorials, and content for social media.
  • As an illustrator and comic artist, I’ve worked with publishers like Panini, Edizioni BD, and Kappa Edizioni, contributing to various editorial projects.
  • As a designer, I collaborated with Giochi Preziosi, one of Italy’s leading toy companies, which allowed me to bring my style and creativity into a different field.

These experiences enriched me both artistically and professionally, giving me the chance to grow, refine my skills, and explore different creative fields.

Webcomics & Awards

In 2016, I felt the urge to try something new and started working on a new comic project: Lylun Eye. After years of developing the story and characters, I decided to explore the world of webcomics, which I found fascinating. I began publishing Lylun Eye periodically on Webtoon, and the project quickly captured the interest of readers, motivating me even more.

Once I had enough material, I also published the print edition of Volume I, which I presented at Lucca Comics & Games 2018. That same year, Lylun Eye won 1st Prize for Best Independent Manga in the AnimeClick Contest — a recognition that gave me even more confidence to continue on this path.

Today

Today, I work full-time as an independent artist, balancing comics, content creation, merchandise, and collaborations. I’m always developing new ideas, experimenting with new mediums, and finding ways to connect my art with the people who follow and support me.

None of this would be possible without my readers and followers — so thank you, sincerely, for making this dream my everyday life! ✨
